Michael L Glenn

 

      I’m just a simple guy who grew up in Brooklyn NY., now residing in Pocono Summit PA. I've drawn ever since i was a young man. All I've ever wanted to be was an artist. Did some airbrush work and some pin stripping when I was younger.   I really enjoyed that.  

 

       I remember way back then…., always loving to draw. I drew the cover of New York magazine once, along with the distinctive font. With the skyline of Manhattan behind the typing.  I’d love to redo that some day with my new found skills I’ve acquired over the years. That would be great.

 

      I was heavily influenced by pin up art of the 70's and 80's. Huge fan of the art of Olivia  De Berardinis. Took some time away from drawing and sketching to just do life... kids.. career .. stuff like that. At one point in my life, I completely walked away from it for stupid reasons. But thanks to my sisters influence,  I'm back with a vengence, drawing things that excite and intrigue me. It truly is my passion now.

 

      Ive been in the computer field for close to 30 years, if not more. While it paid my bills, it wasn’t a rewarding career, nor, did it ever become a passion.

 

      Now, I’m on a mission. The plan is to have something to keep me busy in my retirement years….  In about 10 years from now. And if I’m Lucky, I can do that even sooner.

 

      Things I like to do? Enjoy a good cigar. Perhaps a good glass of wine or a good vodka and 7 with a slice of lime. Spending time with my grandkids. Enjoying the visions of nature.

 

I’ve been drawing things such as Animals, cars, nature, fantasy creations, Sexy woman, Pinup art, and portraits. Working with graphite  and Colored pencil.  Recently did a huge mural in the Scranton, PA area.  I just finished up some art work for a wine label for a local winery that I enjoy visiting as much as possible.
